Our buddy class is Room 2 and we read with them every Friday. We like sharing our books with others. We hope that you enjoy reading with us at home too.
This term the Junior School are inventing bird feeders for our feathered friends. We have walked around the school investigating what birds we have on the school grounds. We have seen magpies, blackbirds and a few sparrows. In class we have a display of birds that we know and birds that we find in our gardens at home. (Please help us look out for birds in our gardens. Our job is to design a bird feeder that will attract birds into our gardens at home but also at school. Due to the cancellation of our aviary visit, Tania brought her two birds in. Their names are Salt and P epper.
Exciting News....... This week, after 2 weeks of waiting, two of our cocoons hatched. We did not get to see them hatching but yesterday we were invited into Room 6 to see one of their's hatch. Nature is pretty cool. We have painted a butterfly this week and we also wrote about what we saw with our first butterfly. You are more than welcome to come and read our wonderful writing.
